The Chemawawin Indian Band is located adjacent to the community of Easterville of the South-East shore of Cedar Lake. In 1963, the band was relocated from this site when the Grand Rapids hydro station was constructed and extensive areas of the reserve were flooded. The band chose the Denbeigh Point area as reserve No. 3 on Lake Winnipegosis as a land entitlement under the Grand Rapids Forebay Agreement. Robert-Bourassa is a hydroelectric generating station on the La Grande River that is part of Hydro-Québec' s James Bay Project. The Station can generate 5, 616 MW and was commissioned in 1979-1981. Together with the adjacent La Grande-2-A generating station, it uses the reservoir and dam system of the Robert-Bourassa Reservoir to generate electricity. The Delta Waterfowl and Wetlands Research Station(DWWRS), Delta's main research station, is located at the Delta Marsh, on the south shore of Lake Manitoba in south central Manitoba. DWWRS has superb access to the 14, 000 ha Delta Marsh and its adjacent forested dune-ridge, a system of 10 experimental wetlands(The Marsh Ecology Research Project), an extentive library, workshops, lab space, and comfortable lodging. The templets used in connection with gravity studies are similar to those described above, except that no account is taken of azimuth, all compartments bounded by a given pair of circles being of the same size and shape.
