The turn coordinator is really two instruments. The gyro portion shows the aircraft’s rate of turn –how fast it’s changing direction. A ball in a tube called the "inclinometer" or "slip/skid indicator" shows the quality of the turn –whether the turn is "coordinated."

Fuel is stored in aircraft in three different ways; metal tanks that are manufactured and placed in the cavity(i. e., the Cessna 172), wet wing or integral tanks. This system is utilized in some general aviation aircraft but is more prevalent in commercial aircraft. The cavity is sealed with urethane or polysulfide sealant to hold the fuel in the cavity. Bladders(or fuel cells) have been the staple way to store fuel in general aviation aircraft. Wheelbarrowing is a condition that arises when the nosewheel rather than the main gear is forced to support an abnormal share of the aircraft’s weight. Touching down on the nosewheel, excessive braking, or friction between the wheels and runway caused by a side-skid may cause wheelbarrowing. Wheelbarrowing can damage a nosewheel or cause an aircraft to yaw uncontrollably off its intended course..

During take-off, "wheelbarrowing" may occur at lower speeds than during landing due to the slipstream increasing the lifting effect of the horizontal stabilizer. The use of excessive forward elevator control pressure during take-off to hold the aircraft on the ground to speeds above normal take-off speed could, if a "yaw" force is introduced, result in serious wheelbarrowing.

Pendant le décollage, le «brouettage» peut se produire à des vitesses plus faibles qu'au cours de l'atterrissage puisque le souffle de l'hélice augmente la portance du stabilisateur. Pendant le décollage, si le pilote pousse excessivement sur le manche pour maintenir l'avion au sol à des vitesses supérieures à la vitesse de décollage normale et si une force en lacet apparaît, un grave brouettage risque de se présenter.

During a turn the nose of the aircraft is continually pitching up. Your pitch gyro will see this and attempt to stop it. This results in the nose dropping, and a decrease in altitude. Your pressure sensor will sense this loss of altitude and attempt to correct it. So, effectively, the gyro and pressure sensor will be working against each other(slightly) and the end result is that your plane will not hold the desired altitude, but one slightly lower than the desired altitude. This is especially true in the early portions of the turn.
