Dans le cadre du projet du Système avancé d’entraînement à distance pour le combat, les pilotes de CF-18 reçoivent une formation sur la nouvelle version de l’appareil et de ses systèmes d’armes. Le système permet aussi de réduire l’usure de la cellule des appareils et les coûts opérationnels de la flotte de CF-18.
