A toggle bolt, also known as a butterfly anchor, is a fastener for hanging things on hollow walls such as drywalls. Toggle bolts have wings that open inside a hollow wall, bracing against it to hold the fastener securely. The wings are much larger than the bolt they are attached to. This spreads the weight of the secured item over a larger area, increasing the weight that can be secured compared to a regular bolt.

Access and work off the cradle portion of the Swing Stage. No more than 2(two) persons are allowed on the cradle at any time.... A worker on an a Swing Stage must wear a personal fall arrest system secured to a pre-determined anchor independent of the work platform and its suspension. No more than 2(two) persons shall be tied off to an approved horizontal lifeline at any one time. Safe access and egress must be provided to and from the cradle. All equipment and/or materials are to be kept to the minimum, in order to reduce the overall weight on the swing stage. Distribute materials evenly on the cradle. Swing stages have a specific carrying capacity that must not be exceeded.

A continuous floating marker attached to a line stretched from the lanes running from the starting end to the turning end.

Lane ropes shall extend the full length of the course, secured at each end wall to anchor brackets recessed into the end walls. The anchor shall be positioned so that the floats at each end wall of the pool shall be on the surface of the water. Each lane rope will consist of floats placed end-to-end having a minimum diameter of 0, 05 metre to a maximum of 0, 15 metre.

Dans le cas d'un contact avec la corde de couloir, le nageur ne sera pas disqualifié, en autant qu'aucun avantage n'en aura été tiré.
