The IM(Information Management) Certificate Program's Objective is to support the implementation of the MGI(Management of Government Information) Policy in departments by providing learning and developmental opportunities for IM leaders, specialists, practitioners, and managers. Secrétariat du Conseil du Trésor du Canada. L'objectif du Programme d'accréditation en GI (gestion de l'information) est de soutenir la mise en œuvre de la Politique de la GIG (gestion de l'information gouvernementale) dans les ministères en offrant des possibilités d'apprentissage et de perfectionnement aux leaders, aux spécialistes, aux intervenants et aux gestionnaires en GI ainsi qu'à d'autres parties intéressées. Business intelligence is actually an environment in which business users receive data that is reliable, consistent, understandable, easily manipulated and timely. With this data, business users are able to conduct analyses that yield overall understanding of where the business has been, where it is now and where it will be in the near future. Business intelligence serves two main purposes. It monitors the financial and operational health of the organization(reports, alerts, alarms, analysis tools, key performance indicators and dashboards). PAGES is the IGBP(International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme) Core Project charged with providing a quantitative understanding of the Earth's past environment and defining the envelope of natural climate variability within which we can assess anthropogenic impact on the Earth's biosphere, geosphere, and atmosphere. Through the organization of coordinated national and international scientific efforts, PAGES seeks to obtain and interpret a variety of paleoclimatic records to provide the data for the validation of predictive climate models.
