The Spanish term "cordaje" and the French cognate "cordage" are both collective nouns that denote the set of strings that make up the "stringbed". Another appropriate English equivalent would be "racquet strings"-in the plural. In comparison, the singular term "cuerda" denotes the thin material we call "string" in English. When used in the plural, "cuerdas" and "cordes" are synonomous with "cordaje" and "cordage" respectively. Another point to watch out for : the Spanish term "cordaje" is polysemous. It can denote the process of putting strings on a tennis racquet(=stringing) or it can denote the end product, i. e. the set of strings found on a tennis racquet. Various types of strings used today : multilfilament, multicore(with or without wraps), solid core, textured, unique, construction, hybrid.

The freezing system uses a highly effective heat transfer technology for rapid crust-freezing of raw protein-laden products. A low temperature plate filled with recirculating refrigerant begins the freezing process immediately to set the product’s shape. With a firm bottom surface, the product has enough integrity to be transferred to a spiral or tunnel freezer where it can be deep frozen to 0°F. Including investment and consumable costs, mechanical freezing can be as low as one-tenth the cost of comparable cryogenic crust-freezing systems.

The "CASCADE" superCONTACT freezing tunnel(mechanical refrigeration) uses two thin conveyors(throw-away polyethylene film) enabling the individual Quick Freezing of food products, especially if they are wet, fatty or sticky and without any risk of the products sticking together. This new process enables ultra fast freezing in two stages :product surface crust freezing on film conveyors level N° 1, followed by deep core freezing on the lower level film conveyors. These film conveyors slide over refrigerated contact plates constructed for the recirculation of a mechanically refrigerated low temperature refrigerant.

Basically, the gasification of solid fuels takes place at elevated temperatures. The heat required for the heating and conversion, is either provided through partial combustion(autothermic process) or through supply of external heat(allothermic process). Compared to the autothermic gasification, the allothermic gasification has the advantage that the fuel does not have to be partially burned in the gasification zone, in order to provide the necessary heat. In the allothermic gasification, the heat can be provided from any external sources, such as for instance high-temperature core reactors, but also from combustion chambers, wherein a fraction of the gas product is burned.
