The Tanzer 22 Class Association was formed in 1970 to : establish and promote the Tanzer 22 sloop, both the fin keel and keel/centerboard model, as a one-design class; promote family cruising and class racing under uniform rules; prevent design changes intended to out-class boats now constituting the Tanzer 22 Class; promote inter-regional activities and support the work of regional fleets and governing bodies. With the demise of Tanzer Industries, the [role] of [the] association has evolved to providing help and assistance to Tanzer owners with technical matters, hard to find parts, and tuning, maintenance.

Roller Sports Canada(RSC) was formed and incorporated in 1973(originally under the name of The Canadian Federation of Amateur Roller Skaters). Since that time, RSC has been the National Sport Governing Body for all aspects of rollers sports in Canada, including Artistic Roller Skating, Roller Speed Skating, and Roller Hockey. RSC is responsible for the development and administration of competitions and proficiency tests; for conducting seminars and clinics for coaches, athletes, and officials; and for the development of the sport in general, from grassroots programs right up to the high performance level programs that support our world class athletes.
