L’ICLARM – The WorldFish Center est un centre scientifique et technique et international, indépendant et sans but lucratif. Il a pour mission de développer la recherche dans tous les aspects des pêcheries et ressources aquatiques vivantes. Le Centre a été créé à Manille (Philippines) en 1977, sous l’appellation “Centre international pour la gestion des ressources aquatiques vivantes - ICLARM”. Il a adhéré en 1992 au Groupe consultatif pour la recherche agricole internationale (CGIAR). En 2000, son siège a été transféré à Penang (Malaisie) et l’ICLARM a pris un nouveau nom, The WorldFish Center. Le Centre est un organisme de recherche et d’aide à la recherche mais n’est pas un bailleur de fonds. Il établit son programme de travail en concertation avec les pays en développement, afin de lever les obstacles, d’ordre technique et socioéconomique, qui s’opposent à l’augmentation de la production, à l’amélioration de la gestion des ressources et à la répartition équitable des bénéfices. Sa collaboration avec les institutions de pays développés ou en développement est axée sur l’aquaculture, la gestion halieutique et l’aménagement des zones littorales.

Rowing Canada Aviron(RCA) is a nonprofit organization recognized by the Government of Canada and the Canadian Olympic Committee as the national governing body for the sport of rowing in Canada. RCA was originally founded as "The Canadian Association of Amateur Oarsmen" in 1880 by the rowing clubs then in existence-to coordinate and regulate the sport of amateur rowing. In 1974 the name was changed to "The Canadian Amateur Rowing Association-Association Canadienne d’Aviron Amateur", which is still the legally constituted name, although Rowing Canada Aviron is now used as the operating name.
