In January 1997, the Packaging Association of Canada(PAC) and the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union(CEP) joined together with Human Resources Development Canada(HRDC) to create the Packaging Careers Council of Canada(PCCC). The primary goal of PCCC is to study and respond to the human resources needs within the multi-faceted Canadian packaging field.
