Settlement Assistance and Family Support Services(SAFSS), formerly South Asian Family Support Services, is a non-profit, charitable, multi-service organization providing services to the community in the Greater Toronto Area(GTA) with a particular emphasis on un-served and under-served areas of Scarborough. WeatherAlert is an Environment Canada weather message about impending severe weather that scrolls--or crawls--across the bottom of the television screen. Only severe weather events that are not forecast early enough for announcement on regular television broadcasts will trigger WeatherAlert messages.
