A moulding process in which catalysed resin is injected into a closed mould already containing the pre-formed reinforcement.

Resin transfer molding(RTM)... uses a closed mold, in two or more parts, usually made of glass-reinforced polymers or light metal alloys, with injection points and vents to allow air to escape. Reinforcement is cut to shape and placed in the mold, together with any inserts or fittings. The mold is closed and a low viscosity thermosetting resin(usually polyester) is injected under low pressure through a mixing head in which hardener is blended with the resin.

Inshot burners have become the dominant burner in North American residential gas furnaces, according to the American Gas Association. The burners have a single port, and fire into a pipelike heat exchanger. They differ markedly from older designs that had multiple burner ports with two-part heat exchangers, known as clamshells. Inshot burners have resulted in smaller furnace cabinets, a handy feature when remodeling a basement.

Mushroom clouds are formed by many sorts of large explosions under earth gravity, though they are best known for their appearance after nuclear detonations.... While it rises, air is drawn into it and upwards(similar to the updraft of a chimney), producing strong air currents known as "afterwinds", while inside the head of the cloud the hot gases rotate in a toroid shape.
