Le Réseau des aliments et des matériaux d'avant-garde (AFMNet), un des Réseaux de centres d'excellence du Canada, est une initiative nationale réunissant des chercheurs en biochimie, génie, santé, droit et société qui se penchent sur les aspects novateurs d'aliments et de matériaux, y compris la création de nouveaux nutraceutiques, sur les répercussions qu'a le Règlement sur les produits de santé naturels ainsi que sur la manière dont il est perçu.
