La mise en œuvre du Cadre financier (CF) des Services immobiliers (SI) a eu pour effet d'apporter de nombreuses modifications aux processus de budgétisation, de financement et d'établissement des rapports des SI. Alors que les SI avaient l'habitude de planifier et de gérer leurs activités, pour ce qui est de l'administration des centres de responsabilité (CR), uniquement dans le cadre du Fond renouvelable des SI (FRSI), ils les gèrent désormais en faisant appel au FRSI et à la gamme des services des Locaux et avoirs fédéraux (GSLAF).
