Statistics Canada is implementing EDR(Electronic Data Reporting) options, which must be integrated with traditional response options while preserving data quality. This integration entails three application components : Web-enabled forms, secure file transfers and stand-alone software to be used locally by respondents. This project significantly accelerates the rate at which EDR will be accessible to survey respondents. Ultimately, this technology will be extended to all surveys and censuses. Statistique Canada met déjà en œuvre des options de CED (Collecte électronique des données), mais il faut intégrer la CED avec des options traditionnelles de réponse tout en conservant la qualité des données. Cette intégration suppose trois composantes d'application : des formulaires activés par le Web, la transmission sécuritaire de fichiers et un logiciel autonome dont les répondants se servent au niveau local. Cette proposition fera en sorte que les répondants auront accès à la CED beaucoup plus rapidement. Cette technologie sera par la suite appliquée à tous les sondages et à tous les recensements. Of the ministère des Transports of Québec. This policy deals with the selection of pavement types. It covers a five-year period and is a core component of our road system management policy. Comprehensive in approach rather than project-based, it set outs the most appropriate types of pavement for roads under the Department's jurisdiction. The analysis methodology it stipulates is a thorough, proven approach based on consistent, verifiable parameters and a transparent development process throughout. The new policy, which replaces the Policy on the Construction and Maintenance of Cement Concrete pavements in force since 1995, allows greater consideration of new technologies and road work requirements through its integrated approach under a comprehensive Québec pavement management framework. Implementation of this policy must fit with road work planning strategies and the Department's financial capabilities.
