La participation des laboratoires de mesure à des exercices d'intercomparaison (également appelés essais d'aptitude interlaboratoires) est indispensable pour valider les résultats de mesure obtenus sur les échantillons provenant du programme de surveillance de la radioactivité de l'environnement. Ces exercices permettent de vérifier la validité du programme et la qualité des laboratoires, en particulier lorsqu'il s'agit de mesurer des traces de radioactivité dans des matrices environnementales ayant des compositions élémentaires variées. The Program for Climate Model Diagnosis and Intercomparison(PCMDI) was established in 1989 at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory(LLNL) in Livermore, California. We are funded by the Environmental Science Division of the U. S. Department of Energy's Office of Biological and Environmental Research(BER) as part of its Global Change Research Program. The Working Group on Numerical Experimentation(WGNE), jointly established by the Joint Scientific Committee on the WCRP and the WMO Commission for Atmospheric Sciences(CAS) has the responsibility of fostering the development of atmospheric circulation models for use in weather prediction and climate studies on all time scales and diagnosing shortcomings. WGNE promotes co-ordinated numerical experimentation for validating model results, observed atmospheric properties, exploring the natural and forced variability and predictability of the atmosphere,(e. g the Atmospheric Model Intercomparison Project, AMIP), as well as studies aimed at refined numerical techniques, and the formulation of atmospheric physics processes. PAGES is the IGBP(International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme) Core Project charged with providing a quantitative understanding of the Earth's past environment and defining the envelope of natural climate variability within which we can assess anthropogenic impact on the Earth's biosphere, geosphere, and atmosphere. Through the organization of coordinated national and international scientific efforts, PAGES seeks to obtain and interpret a variety of paleoclimatic records to provide the data for the validation of predictive climate models. Comparaisons corrélatives in vitro. Au moins une fois par année, le BRP fournit à tous les laboratoires participants des échantillons réels et à blanc appropriés. Comparaisons corrélatives in vitro. Au moins une fois par année, le BRP fournit à tous les laboratoires participants des échantillons réels et à blanc appropriés. Chaque laboratoire participant analyse alors les échantillons dans les délais impartis par le BRP et lui transmet les résultats sur un formulaire de rapport standard. Une fois que tous les résultats des laboratoires ont été reçus, le BRP [Bureau de la radioprotection] analyse tous les résultats et publie un rapport où chaque laboratoire est désigné par un code alphabétique qui n'est divulgué qu'au laboratoire visé et à la CCEA.
