A bonding check most definitely will be done to ensure that none of the bonding strips were burnt through. Bonding strips are just strands of braided conductive material that allows the charges that are carried by the aircraft(due mainly to friction with the moving airstream) to equalize throughout the aircraft. In any event what should happen is that the current from the lightening should pass throught the structure, through the bonding strips and be discharged into the atmosphere through the static wicks that are on the trailing edge of the wing tips and rudder.

The bioreactor "plug" is made of slotted PVC pipe which is screw cap sealed at each end. Each plug is loaded with an inert porous material which serves as a structural support matrix for the microorganisms. The seed cultures in the bioplugs are a mixture of microorganisms selected for their abilities to biodegrade the contaminants of concern... The bioplugs are strategically inserted into the contaminated zone(s). Liquids then flow through the plugs by a pressure gradient created using compressed air. This flow acts to accelerate the movement of ground or irrigation water through the immobilized bed; thereby, facilitating the mineralization of organics within the aqueous phase and the bulk generation of biomass which bleeds off the bed.

A snow roller is a rare meteorological phenomenon in which large snowballs are formed naturally as chunks of snow are blown along the ground by wind, picking up material along the way, in much the same way that the large snowballs used in snowmen are made. Unlike snowballs made by people, snow rollers are typically cylindrical in shape, and are often hollow since the inner layers, which are the first layers to form, are weak and thin compared to the outer layers and can easily be blown away, leaving what looks like a doughnut or jelly roll. Snow rollers have been seen to grow as large as two feet in diameter.... snow rollers are more common in hilly areas. However, [they are] a very rare phenomenon.
