If hockey is our most popular national game, then nobody does a better job of making us feel like Canadians that the people of Plaster Rock. Every year, this community brings together 96 teams from across North America to compete for the "World Pond Hockey Championships". This is "four-on-four" play, with no goaltenders and plenty of action! All games are outdoors on a lake which is home to 24 ice surfaces. This means that many teams can play simultaneously for an exciting three days. Nothing like this exists anywhere else in the world. Animation Software : A popular method called key frame animation... Every animation sequence usually has a few key points. For instance if you want to animate a ball dropping from the top of the screen to the bottom, the key points are the top and bottom positions of the ball. The software program can compute the positions of the ball in the frames in between. This process is called tweening. The computer tweens for all the frames in between, whereas the animator provides the data for the key frames, where the action starts or stops or changes course. The animator also decides on the number of frames that the animation sequence lasts. Earth Day Canada campaign. In the first year of this annual campaign, over two million Canadians will wear a green ribbon to commemorate Earth Day. Sponsorship and donations created by the campaign will be used to create much needed manuals and resources for community tree planting projects. One of the most popular Earth Day events, tree planting is an environmental action in itself. It is also a symbolic act that commemorates and reaffirms our environmental commitment. The Lampen mill consists of a hollow circular housing rotating around a horizontal axis at 250 rpm, in which a smooth spherical 10-kg ball is allowed to roll freely.... The pulp sample is milled by the rotating ball at relatively low consistency(3. 0% for softwood, 3. 6% for hardwood), providing a slow, gentle refining action.
