A reduction in these masses can bring about a significant lowering of starting power required. The aspect angle... can have a significant influence on the appearance of radar imagery, especially when features in the scene have an organized linear structure, such as agricultural crops or geological structures. When a radar's illumination is oriented perpendicular to geologic features such as faults, lineaments and outcrops, [there is] increased contrast and shadowing of the features in the image results. This is a favourable aspect angle for the image interpreter, as terrain is enhanced. In agricultural applications, fields imaged from different aspect angles may result in different tones on the image because of row or planting direction. Aspect angle can cause imaging geometry to be either enhanced or suppressed.

Magna Carta(Latin for "Great Charter", literally "Great Paper"), also called Magna Carta Libertatum("Great Charter of Freedoms"), is an English charter originally issued in 1215. Magna Carta was the most significant early influence on the long historical process that led to the rule of constitutional law today. Magna Carta was originally created because of disagreements between Pope Innocent III, King John and his English barons about the rights of the King. Magna Carta required the king to renounce certain rights, respect certain legal procedures and accept that the will of the king could be bound by law.

La Grande Charte ou Magna Carta est une charte de 63 articles arrachée par le baronnage anglais au roi Jean sans Terre le 15 juin 1215 après une courte guerre civile notamment marquée par la prise de Londres, le 17 mai, par les rebelles. Les barons étaient excédés des exigences militaires et financières du roi et de ses échecs répétés en France à Bouvines et à la Roche-aux-Moines. Ce texte limite l'arbitraire royal et établit en droit l'habeas corpus qui empêche, entre autres, l'emprisonnement arbitraire. Il garantit les droits féodaux, les libertés des villes contre l'arbitraire royal et institue le contrôle de l'impôt par le Grand Conseil du Royaume. L'archevêque de Canterbury, Langton défend ardemment les barons, son nom restant le premier à avoir été apposé en qualité de témoin de la Grande Charte. Lorsque le pape excommunie les barons, Langton refuse de publier l'interdit et est suspendu par le pape.

As this influence is unrelated to acoustic signatures, magnetic detection is feasible even for acoustically-quiet submarines or in littoral waters. The micro-WIS(Micro Wireless Instrumentation System) consists of tiny autonomous sensors for data acquisition... This HTD [Head-of-Train Telemetry Device] is designed to demonstrate the micro-WIS transmitter and recorder. One of the objectives of this HTD is to obtain meaningful real-time measurements for use in the orbiter's Environmental Control and Life Support System(ECLSS) operations. The micro-WIS transmitter's simultaneous real-time measurements of air cabin temperatures in many interior compartments of the orbiter will help ECLSS operations personnel address issues encountered on STS-88 and early International Space Station flights. Currently, only one temperature reading in the aft flight deck of the orbiter is available for adjusting model predictions for real-time environments. Micro-WIS will also reduce the time it takes the crew to obtain on-orbit temperature measurements and will increase the capability to monitor temperatures over long periods.... Micro-WIS data will also be used to validate cabin air temperature models that are used to make critical predictions of the dew point on early ISS [International Space Station] missions, which is important because orbiter cabin air exerts a significant influence on the entire station volume. Although the physical configuration of the air ducts in the orbiter cabin has been changed significantly, the sensors have remained the same and some temperature data has never been available.

Fate data is most crucial when the effects data demonstrate either a wide host range or significant adverse effects(e. g., adverse effects on plants and animals, or other non-target organisms of environmental and/or economic importance). Environmental fate data may come from well designed microcosm experiments, mesocosm experiments, or it may come from other long-term, controlled studies in which the fate of the microorganism is tested or monitored. Environmental fate test data may include but should not be limited to :-persistence, multiplication and dispersion of the microorganism under different conditions and in different environments(land, marine, freshwater, etc.), and;-the ability of the genetic material introduced into a genetically modified microorganism to be transferred to other organisms or to persist in the environment.

L'action thermique du relief crée un régime de vent particulier à la vallée : brises de pente, brises de vallée. La brise de pente est due à la différence de température entre le sol incliné d'un relief quelconque et l'air libre au même niveau. Sous l'influence du rayonnement solaire, le sol se réchauffe plus vite que l'air libre durant le jour. L'air, qui se trouve directement au contact du sol, tend donc à s'élever le long de la pente tandis que l'air libre s'affaisse : c'est la brise montante. La nuit au contraire, le sol refroidit par rayonnement l'air qui se trouve en contact avec lui. Cet air devenu plus lourd s'écoule le long de la pente : c'est la brise descendante. La brise de pente sera d'autant plus accentuée que la vallée sera large et que la pente sera exposée au soleil.
