Pallet Shrink Wrapping Machines.-Pallet shrink wrapping involves wrapping the pallet in an over sized film and then shrinking by applying heat. The shrunk film so tightens around the pallet that it gives it maximum stability during the transport. The shrunk thermoplastic film also provides protection against moisture and dust during storage. These machines are as per the customer requirement in terms of the size of the pallet or product, speed and automation. Shrink hood applicator wraps the load in thermoplastic film in a reel. Fruit Cooling. Requirement : Cool on the same day as picked from the orchard, hundreds of crates of fruit from the field temperature(core at perhaps 95 degrees) to as close as 33 degrees storage temperature as possible prior to passage to the storage rooms. This requires a hydro-cooling system that will deliver large quantities of recirculated water at 33 degrees that can be flooded over the warm fruit on a conveyor belt that accepts fruit from the field and delivers it to the storage rooms. In an emergency, the condition of damp grain in storage can in fact be improved by "airing" it simply by circulating the grain through the silo conveying system. In a damp grain emergency, aeration fans can be used to improve conditions in bins and eliminate hot spots by equalizing temperatures.
