The Strategic Development Fund (SDF) is also a provincial funding program that was initiated in 1994 by the Department for Fisheries and Aquaculture. Le Fonds de développement stratégique (FDS) est aussi un programme de financement provincial qui a été mis sur pied en 1994 par le ministère des Pêches et de l'Aquaculture.
