GUI NESS [National Employment Services System] is a micro application. The application provides a GUI [graphical user interface] through which NESS users can access and manage the information in the legacy mainframe database. The features of the graphical interface reflect the functions available in the mainframe application, but provide a "friendlier" face and standard MS Windows functionality. L'IUG du SNSE [Système national des services d'emploi] est une application micro-informatique. Il s'agit d'une IUG [interface utilisateur graphique] au moyen de laquelle les utilisateurs du SNSE peuvent accéder à l'information provenant des anciens systèmes et la gérer. Les composantes de l'interface graphique reflètent les fonctions disponibles dans l'application de l'ordinateur central, mais dans un contexte plus «convivial» et dans l'environnement MS Windows.
