In 1988, CCDF received from Human Resources Development Canada (then CEIC) funds to partner with universities and colleges to create state-of-the-art methods of career counselling, career education and counsellor training. The initiative, entitled The Creation and Mobilization of Counselling Resources for Youth (CAMCRY), resulted in over 30 new and innovative programs, resources and professional development courses.
