The American Arbitration Association, the British Columbia International Commercial Arbitration Centre, the Mexico City National Chamber of Commerce and the Quebec National and International Commercial Arbitration Centre, join together to announce the formation of the Commercial Arbitration and Mediation Center for the Americas (CAMCA), the first international dispute resolution center founded to resolve private, cross-border commercial disputes relating to the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). Created in 1986, The Canadian Commercial Arbitration Centre (also known as the "CCAC" or the "Centre") is a private but non-profit organization. Its head office is located in Québec City and it provides its services from its offices in Québec City and Montréal. CCAC services are available in French or English and its documentation is trilingual: English, French and Spanish.
