The computerized First Nations and Inuit Health Information System (FNIHIS) is one of three Health Canada initiatives designed to contribute to the development of a Canadian health "infostructure." It contains information about status and non-status First Nations and Inuit residents of all provinces who access health services on-reserve. Information includes name, address, gender, date of birth, residency, status, and may include band registration number, provincial health card number, immunization status as well as data pertaining to reportable and chronic diseases, mortality, medication, medication allergy and adverse reaction, test and exams, public education, abuse, maternal, and psycho-social health. Le Système d’information sur la santé des Premières nations et des Inuits(SISPNI) est l'une des trois initiatives que Santé Canada a conçues afin de contribuer à l'élaboration d’une «infostructure» canadienne de la santé. The Business Integration Office (BIO) , also included in the Office of the Director General ensures the effective operation of BGTD , including operational and strategic planning and performance measurement. Within BGTD, this Office manages broad projects of a strategic nature (both long term and emerging). Le Bureau de l'intégration opérationnelle(BIO), qui fait également partie du Bureau du directeur général, assure le fonctionnement efficace de la DPBTG, y compris la planification opérationnelle et stratégique et la mesure du rendement.
