Tribute to Canada's Fallen Heroes at the Canadian National Vimy Memorial. The Government of Canada will host a candlelight ceremony honouring the valour, service and sacrifice of the people of Canada and Newfoundland during the First World War. The Blind Curling Bonspiel, an event that is being held this week at the Ottawa Curling Club, has brought together some of Canada's finest curlers from the west coast to the east. The exciting tournament launches White Cane Week 2005, hosted by the Canadian Council of the Blind to raise awareness for the blind and visually impaired in Canada. Ce tournoi palpitant a pour but d’inaugurer la Semaine de la canne blanche 2005, sous les auspices de l'Institut national canadien pour les aveugles.
