Acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) develops when the DNA of a stem cell in the bone marrow changes. The change is acquired, which means that it is not present at birth. ALL develops and progresses quickly. ALL occurs when the bone marrow makes too many abnormal lymphoblasts (immature lymphocytes). These immature cells (called blasts or leukemia cells) do not develop into mature, healthy cells. La leucémie aiguë lymphoblastique(LAL) se développe quand l'ADN d’une cellule souche dans la moelle osseuse change. Ce changement est acquis, ce qui signifie qu'il n’ est pas présent à la naissance. La LAL apparaît et évolue rapidement. La LAL apparaît lorsque la moelle osseuse fabrique trop de lymphoblastes anormaux(lymphocytes immatures). Ces cellules immatures(appelées blastes ou cellules leucémiques) ne se développent pas en cellules saines matures. From its close orbit above the tiny nucleus, Rosetta will be able to send back the most detailed images and information ever obtained of a comet. When a suitable landing site has been chosen, about a month after global mapping starts, the orbiter will release a 100 kg lander onto the comet's solid surface. Touchdown must be quite slow - less than one metre per second - to allow for the almost negligible gravitational pull of the tiny nucleus. Penetrators as tools for exploring extraterrestrial solid surfaces have been developed for a couple of space missions to Mars, the Moon, comets, and the icy satellites of the giant planets. They are particularly useful to characterize the strength properties and the layering of planetary nearsurface layers.
