Les zones importantes pour la conservation des oiseaux(ZICO) sont des sites qui abritent des groupes d’oiseaux bien précis : espèces menacées, vaste population d’oiseaux ou espèces ayant une aire de répartition réduite. De tailles variées, les ZICO peuvent couvrir de minuscules parcelles de territoire comme de vastes étendues de terre, des rivières et des plans d’eau. The Atlas of the Breeding Birds of Ontario, 2001-2005 is the most authoritative and up-to-date resource on birds and bird distribution in the province. With over 400 colour photographs, the atlas provides detailed information on the distribution and population status of Ontario birds. L'Atlas des oiseaux nicheurs de l'Ontario(2001-2005) est l'ouvrage le plus à jour, et celui qui fait le plus autorité, sur les oiseaux et leur répartition dans la province. Avec plus de 400 photographies en couleurs, il donne des renseignements détaillés sur la répartition et l'état de la population des oiseaux de l'Ontario.
