TADS/PNVS comprises two independently-functioning subsystems: the TADS (Target Acquisition and Designation Sight), to enhance the battle effectiveness of the AAH helicopter, and Pilot Night-Vision Sensor (PNVS), to allow the pilot to navigate at night.
