The collarbone, because it is attached to the rib cage, cannot move down enough to follow th motion of the scapula. La dislocation acromio-claviculaire, véritablement omo-claviculaire, est la conséquence de la rupture des ligaments acromio-claviculaires et coraco-claviculaires, aggravée par la déchirure de la chape delto-trapézienne due à l'ascension de l'extrémité distale de la clavicule devenue sous-cutanée.
