Le système d'extraction est le gros ressort dont je vous avais déjà parlé, plus sûr et plus rapide que le système de nos voiles principales, pour lesquelles nous disposons d'un hand-deploy (un tout petit parachute, quand même plus facile à ranger dans le sac!). [...] on regagne la terre en essayant de regarder où tombent le parachute principal et l'extractor (ressort) du secours.

L'extracteur jaillit, propulsé par le ressort. Remarquez bien que ce n'est pas un ressort de petite fille : il faut 12kg pour le comprimer, et on le sent au moment du pilage.
