Historically, many of the requirements relating to airside operations of vehicle and pedestrian traffic were captured under the prescriptive structure of the ATRs, which were established under the Government Property Traffic Act. The ATRs were supplemented with numerous Transport Canada policy documents, more commonly known as the AK documents, which together made up the framework of what was referred to as the Airside Vehicle Operator's Permit (AVOP) Program. 1, record 1, English, - Airside%20Vehicle%20Operator%27s%20Permit%20Program
