SKI DOUBLE CAMBRURE [1 record]

Record 1 1986-11-10

English

Subject field(s)
  • Sports Equipment and Accessories
  • Skiing and Snowboarding
  • Sports Equipment Manufacture
CONT

The weight of the skier (not the height) is the critical factor in achieving an effective stride. A light or weak-kicking skier on a stiff-cambered ski will merely slip helplessly like a dog on a newly waxed floor. That's why beginners should not buy super-stiff double-cambered skis. A heavy person on a weak-cambered ski will grip like a bulldog but glide like a snail.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Équipement et accessoires de sport
  • Ski et surf des neiges
  • Fabrication des équipements sportifs
CONT
