The Canadian Respiratory Health Professionals (CRHP) was conceptualized in November 2004 as the multidisciplinary successor to the Canadian Nurses Respiratory Society, [the] Canadian Physiotherapy Cardio-Respiratory Society and The Respiratory Therapy Society. Les Professionnels canadiens en santé respiratoire ont vu le jour en novembre 2004 à titre d'organisme pluridisciplinaire destiné à succéder à la Société canadienne des infirmières en santé respiratoire, à la Société de physiothérapie cardio-respiratoire du Canada et à la Société des thérapeutes respiratoires de l'Association pulmonaire du Canada.
