When an interest is ... registered, the Registrar must issue a new certificate of title or endorse an existing one with details of the document being registered ... The certificate of title contains a precise description of the registered owner, together with a certification that the person described is, in fact, the owner of the lands. It also contains a description of the owner's estate in the land as well as a precise description of the land itself. On the reverse of the certificate of title is a listing of all registered encumbrances or charges against the land. (Sterk, 1981, p. 7). 1, record 2, English, - certificate%20of%20title
