The bezel setting creates a metal frame that surrounds the stone. Not only is this a nice way to make your stone look larger, but it can also conceal nicks and chips around the girdle.

Par le passé, on utilisait surtout le serti clos avec les cabochons [...] De nos jours, on l'utilise de plus en plus pour sertir les diamants. La bande de métal peut entourer partiellement ou totalement le diamant.
