Le serti clos ou «en tube». Une bande de métal, qui entoure le diamant et le maintient en place, est soudée à la monture. Par le passé, on utilisait surtout le serti clos avec les cabochons [...] De nos jours, on l'utilise de plus en plus pour sertir les diamants. La bande de métal peut entourer partiellement ou totalement le diamant.
