The part of Canada referred to as the territorial North is administrated jointly by various departments of the federal government and by two territorial governments ... The evolution of this dual form of administration has been long and complicated (K.J. Rea, The Political Economy of the Canadian North, Toronto, University of Toronto Press (UTP), 1968, p. 14). 1, record 1, English, - Territorial%20North

At the time of the quoted publication, the "territorial North" meant the Northwest Territories and the Territory of Yukon. Since April 1, 1999, a third territory is included in the expression: the Nunavut, created out of the Eastern part of the Northwest Territories. 2, record 1, English, - Territorial%20North

1, record 1, French, - Nord%20territorial
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 OBS
