Dans sa réponse du 6 mars 1996, Blackfalds Park a répondu en affirmant, en partie, que les problèmes associés à l'utilisation de l'aiguillage sud se poursuivaient et que le CP n'était pas capable de contrôler les activités de ses équipes. Quant à la clôture proposée, il a été déclaré qu'elle ne bloquerait pas le bruit et que, puisque l'assiette des rails est plus élevée que Blackfalds Park, cette clôture devrait être d'une hauteur considérable.
