Dernier avatar, le ski «évolutif», né à Courchevel en 1966, apprend au débutant à évoluer sans risques sur des skis courts et sans bâtons qui lui permettent en huit jours le virage parallèle et la godille. En français, on utilise le singulier pour parler du sport ou de la méthode : «apprendre sur ski court ou sur miniski». Par contre, le pluriel désigne l'instrument, qui vient par paire; on dit donc «skier sur skis courts ou sur miniskis». Inventés en même temps que la vogue des mini-jupes, ces skis ont d'abord été surtout désignés «miniskis»; aujourd'hui, on y fait davantage allusion sous les appellations «skis courts» ou «skis compacts». 3, record 1, French, - ski%20court
