horseshoes. There are two main systems of scoring: cancellation and count-all. In cancellation, the first player or team to score 50 points is the winner. If opposing players throw ringers or shoes equally close to the stake, the shoes cancel each other out. Points are scored by counting shoes that are not tied by the other team.

Dans le système par annulation, le vainqueur est le premier joueur ou la première équipe à marquer 50 points. Chaque équipe calcule sa marque en comptant les coups qui ne sont pas égalés par son adversaire.
