The Car Heaven program was launched by the Clean Air Foundation in July 2000 to accelerate the retirement of old, higher-polluting vehicles and to ensure that vehicles are recycled in an environmentally responsible manner. Car Heaven aims to help Canadians reduce their personal impact on the environment by providing a better choice for their old, higher-polluting vehicle.

La Fondation Air pur a lancé le programme Autos-o-ciel en juillet 2000 afin d'accélérer le retrait de la circulation des véhicules anciens plus polluants et de s'assurer que ces véhicules seraient recyclés de façon respectueuse pour l'environnement. Autos-o-ciel a pour but d'aider les Canadiens à réduire leur impact personnel sur l'environnement en leur proposant une meilleure alternative pour leur vieux véhicule polluant.
