Traduit souvent par «persiennes», le terme louvre est très fréquemment utilisé par les thermiciens et aérauliciens pour désigner [...] les volets d'air ou «persiennes» remplissant le double rôle de protection et de ventilation.

OBS

Le terme louvre semble avoir été emprunté au vocabulaire de la marine et semble plus approprié que le terme persienne qui s'utilise en parlant des fenêtres mais non des conduits d'aération ou de ventilation.
