The Canadian Language Industry Association (formerly AILIA) is the Canadian not-for-profit association whose mission is to promote and increase the competitiveness of the Canadian language industry nationally and globally through advocacy, accreditation, and information sharing. [It achieves its] mission in collaboration with all industry stakeholders including, but not limited to, language service companies, academia, language professionals, standards organizations, technology providers, research institutions, entities in all levels of government, buyers of language services, and other associations in the language sector.
