Aircraft cross-servicing has been divided into two categories: a. Stage A cross-servicing: The servicing of an aircraft on an aerodrome/ship, which enables the aircraft to be flown to another aerodrome/ship. b. Stage B cross-servicing: The servicing of an aircraft on an aerodrome/ship, which enables the aircraft to be flown on an operational mission.

Los servicios de mantenimiento mutuo para aeronaves comprenden dos categorías: a. Servicios de mantenimiento grado A: Prestación de servicios a una aeronave, en un aeródromo o buque, y que le permite volar a otro aeródromo o buque. Estos servicios incluyen el repostado de carburantes, tanto líquidos como gaseosos, instalación de paracaídas de freno (si es necesario), ayudas para el despegue y maniobras en tierra. b. Servicios de mantenimiento mutuo grado B: Prestación de servicios a una aeronave, en un aeródromo o buque, y que le permite volar para cumplir una misión operativa. Además de los servicios prestados en el grado A, los de grado B incluyen la carga de armas y/o películas, y también comprenden el revelado e interpretación de cualquier película utilizada en alguna misión previa.
