VFR departures requiring coordination are cleared the same way as a regular VFR, except you need to coordinate with radar before you issue the takeoff clearance, and read any amended instructions from radar. For example, a Learjet who filed VFR to the south would have been given the initial clearance from ground or delivery.

Lors du contact initial avec la tour, et à moins que le pilote n'ait accusé réception du message ATIS, le contrôleur de l'aéroport fera connaître au pilote la piste à utiliser, la direction et la vitesse du vent, le calage altimétrique, et lui donnera tout autre renseignement pertinent. Ensuite, le contrôleur autorisera le pilote à poursuivre sa route, avec ou sans limitation, ou à se tenir temporairement à l'écart de la zone de contrôle, jusqu'à ce que les conditions permettent une autre autorisation.
