BACTERIAL FLOC [1 record]

Record 1 1982-08-31

English

Subject field(s)
  • Wastewater Treatment
CONT

It would appear that for good stabilization a loading of 2 kg / m3 d (125 lb / 1000 ft3 d) must be exceeded with activated sludge or of 3 to 4 kg / m3 d (187 to 250 lb / 1000 ft3 d) with a mixture of fresh sludge. This limitation would appear to be explained by the difficulty of achieving a perfectly even consistency and of diffusing the oxygen through the bacterial floc in sludge which is too thick.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Traitement des eaux usées
CONT
