The SECO provides a centralized DND/CF [Department of National Defence/Canadian Forces] focal point for leadership, coordination, guidance and support of pan-CF modeling & simulation (M&S) and synthetic environment (SE) infrastructure and activities. The SECO’s responsibilities are captured under six activity vectors, namely, Collaborative SE Framework and Common Repository, Verification, Validation and Accreditation, Operational use of M&S/SE, Support to the Collaborative Capability Definition, Engineering and Management (CapDEM) TDP and M&S Education, Client Support and Communications.
