Health Canada, Drugs Program. The amalgamation of the former Bureau of Non-prescription Drugs and Bureau of Prescription Drugs, into the BPA (Bureau of Pharmaceutical Assessment). It is expected that this merger will increase consistency in reviews, as well as allowing for operational efficiencies by combining units with similar functions.
