The Black Loyalist Heritage Society, located in Birchtown, Nova Scotia, is a dynamic, charitable society committed to discovering, interpreting, safeguarding and promoting the history and heritage of the Black Loyalists in North America.

The society's goals include: To celebrate the survival and determination of [their] ancestors; to acknowledge the abilities of [their] members and strengthen their capacity to be acknowledged within and outside of the Black Loyalist community; [and] to plan for and attain social and economic equality of the Black Loyalists among Canadians.
