A highly coloured, alkali-soluble and partially water soluble chlorinated phenolic material formed from the reaction of chlorine and the ligneous component of chemical pulp.

OBS

Chlorine reacts with lignin by a) Addition of chlorine to double bonds; b) Substitution of chlorine for hydrogen atoms in benzene rings; c) Oxidation.

Substance phénolique chlorée, très colorée, soluble dans l'alcali et partiellement soluble dans l'eau, qui se forme à partir de la réaction du chlore avec les composants ligneux de la pâte chimique.

OBS

Le chlore réagit à la lignine par a) l'addition de chlore à des doubles liaisons; b) la substitution d'atomes d'hydrogène par le chlore dans les cycles aromatiques; c) l'oxydation.
