The National Seafood Sector Council (NSSC) is a unique partnership, bringing together employers, employees, unions, associations, regulatory agencies and training centres to work toward one common goal: a strong and prosperous seafood processing industry created by a well trained and productive workforce. The NSSC is a non-profit, industry driven organization. Le Conseil national du secteur des produits de la mer (CNSPM) est un partenariat unique en son genre qui regroupe employeurs, employés, syndicats, associations, organismes de réglementation et centres de formation pour travailler afin d'atteindre un but commun : une industrie de la transformation des produits de la mer à la fois forte et prospère créée par une main-d'œuvre bien formée et productive. Le CNSPM est un organisme à but non lucratif, dirigé par l'industrie.
